Our Classes
There is no mystery to Meditation & Relaxation. At it’s simplest it is just a great way to relax and unwind. Our meditation and yoga nidra sessions give you a chance to experience gentle movement, deep relaxation and learn simple techniques, the benefits of which you will feel immediately. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of yoga experiences including meditation & deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra).

Anxiety Soother…Rest & Reset
Many of our classes take you on a journey of stress busting, anxiety decreasing techniques. Let us help you to unwind all your daily tensions.

Pranayama & Nidra
This online class will teach you the basics of breath work and help you develop a pranayama practice to do at home, followed by a Nidra meditation so you can feel fully relaxed and restored afterwards.
Phil Evans trained at Sandstone Yoga & Pilates. He has a wealth of experience in yoga and breath work. He welcomes all abilities and all ages to his online class, so please join in! One of Phil’s well known mantras is ‘Listen to what your body is telling you..”
Having been diagnosed with MS in 2004, Phil truly believes in the power of yoga and what this ancient practice can do for your body and mind.

Meditation
This is meditation for modern life. You will explore new techniques and ancient practices to create calm in the mind and calm in the body. Ruth Anne Adams, owner of Sandstone Yoga & Pilates Broadway, is a highly trained therapist and meditation teacher. Each week she will help you find headspace in a modern and often stressful world.
Please make sure you have a space at home where you won’t be disturbed during this exclusive online class – for at least 30 minutes. This can be anywhere, just ensure that you’re comfortable.

Hatha Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Enjoy 50 minutes of a traditional, Hatha based yoga with asanas & sequences to help ease out stresses & tensions, followed by 25 minutes of yoga nidra. Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditation technique that promotes deep rest and relaxation. This class is suitable for all.

Monthly Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Prepare yourself for a deep relaxation in this 90 minute class. We’ll start with some gentle movements to prepare the body for rest. Restorative yoga is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretches. We’ll finish with a deeply restful Yoga Nidra. This restorative practice and deep meditation will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and refreshed.
Have yoga props, cushions, pillows and blankets to hand. Wear loose warm layers.

Meditation & Visualisation
Your mind has a huge impact on your immune system along with all of the functions within the body. With so many stressors in our current environment, getting your mind working for you an helping your body to feel healthy, happy and balanced is a priority. This guided visualisation will help you to connect the mind and body and improve all over health and wellbeing.

Family Mindfulness Meditation
With many of us now in close quarters with our family during this time, this class will help you through a guided meditation and mindfulness techniques useful for the whole family! Come together in a comfortable space where you can all be. This class is perfect for ages 3+, so encourage your younger members and do this one together! Please ensure that your little ones have guidance from you as a parent/ guardian during the class. Ruth Anne Adams will go through mindfulness stories, activities, and practices each week.
