Claire qualified to teach Pilates teacher in 2019, and her classes focus on the fundamentals of Pilates and have an emphasis on building core strength, and developing postural alignment, and muscle balance.
Pilates is for those students experienced in Pilates looking for additional physical challenge through more challenging poses and increased intensity. These classes will be taught by Jayne Pugh, with over 15 years experience, and a regular teacher across our Sandstone studios.
Nick Smith is our third guest teacher for Pilates online here at Sandstone. Nick qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2016 from the Frog Lotus School of Yoga, specialising in Vinyasa Flow. Nick is also a professionally trained Contemporary dancer, with over eighteen years of training, and seven years experience of Teaching Movement and Dance.
