Claire is a 200 hour RYT in Hatha Yoga and completed her training with the Sandstone training academy. Following the completion of her yoga teacher training, Claire also went on to train in and achieve level 3 diploma mat pilates with level 3 anatomy and Physiology and level 2 principles of exercise and fitness.
Claire’s love of yoga and Pilates has grown from a lifelong passion for classical ballet. Having started lessons at age 4, she still dances to this day. Since her 20s Claire has taken part in yoga, Pilates and various dance classes, including pole fitness.
Claire strongly believes in the effectiveness of Pilates in building strength and a healthy posture. And, following a bereavement a few years ago, she really grew to understand the positive effects of yoga on emotional wellbeing. Claire appreciates that the physical exercises and poses in both practices are developing and broadening and as a result, in her classes you can expect the classical exercises and postures as well as a fresh and creative approach. Claire has also recently trained in the Barre Pilates Method. 🧡🧡🧡
